The Pine Tree Hotel was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful mountain vibes and towering pine trees made it feel like a true escape. The hotel is beautifully maintained, cozy, and thoughtfully designed every detail adds to the experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and warm, with that perfect cabin-in-the-woods feel. Waking up surrounded by nature was exactly what we needed. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, a girls' weekend, or just some fresh mountain air, this place is a must. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning my next stay. Our nonprofit group of about thirty people rented this place out for the weekend and it was PERFECT for our group. The cabins are comfortable, the fire pits inviting, and the sauna with just the right amount of heat. If you’re thinking of a place to stay in Idyllwild, don’t pass this place up!
You cannot go wrong staying here!! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Idyllwild and we stay at the Pinetree hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here! It is so beautifully well kept, clean, modern, and so many amenities! So much to do here and around. Not to mention is it so close to everything. You can star gaze at night! Saw the big and Little Dipper. The staff has great communication and very accommodating. They check in to see how it’s going, if there is anything you need, and respond quickly! We will definitely have this trip as one for the books! We will definitely stay here again!
We stayed at cabin 11 and honestly loved it. Super cozy, quiet, and exactly the kind of mountain escape we were looking for The cabin has a full kitchen with everything you need, which made the stay feel easy and homey. The property has great amenities — several grills around the territory, a heated pool, sauna, and cold plunges. Such a nice bonus, especially after hiking. Idyllwild itself is really cute, with nice trails nearby and that calm small-town mountain vibe. Also important for us — it’s very dog-friendly, which made the stay even better A peaceful, cozy place surrounded by nature. Would definitely come back
I had a wonderful stay at Pinetree Hotel in Idyllwild. Check-in was incredibly easy and seamless, which set the tone right away. The location is perfect…walkable to town, close to great hikes, and surrounded by that peaceful mountain vibe I was craving. I loved having access to the sauna and cold plunge….it was such a treat after being out on the trails. The room was cozy, comfortable, and exactly what I needed to relax and fully unplug. Overall, a great experience and I would absolutely stay here again.
My stay at the Pine Tree Hotel in Idyllwild was simply amazing! I went on a solo vacation with my dog, and could not have stayed in a better place. The grounds are beautiful and filled with nature. The hotel is dog friendly which was an huge plus. All of the cabins are different and unique. I originally booked a smaller cabin, which was so nice- with a kitchen and all the amenities you would need. I reached out and asked if I could upgrade once I was there to one of the stand alone cabins, cabin 11. Not only did they let me upgrade they did so free of charge! Beyond nice! Cabin 11 was PERFECT! My stay was relaxing and just the solo reset I needed. The outdoor cold plunges and the sauna were so nice, I started and ended my days there. The common areas with chairs and fire pits were a nice way to wind down in the evenings outside in nature. I cannot wait to come back.. already planning a trip with some friends!
We’ll definitely return! The property was so charming. Loved that it was rustic, but modern and had everything we needed. We went in early December, early in the week. The only caution we would give is that a lot of the stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, it was nice to have the place to ourselves and not have to deal with crowds. We especially enjoyed the coziness of the cabins and the sauna. P.s. the pool is heated to 85!
My daughter and I went to Idyllwild for a weekend away and stayed at the Pinetree Hotel. It was the perfect spot. The caretaker of the hotel was very pleasant and gave us a quick tour of the amenities. Our cabin was nice, roomy and clean. It had everything we needed. The location was ideal: close enough to Idyllwild’s charming downtown to explore shops, cafes, and local art, but tucked far enough into the woods to feel private and serene. It was the perfect blend of convenience and escape. Overall, this cabin exceeded every expectation. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a romantic weekend, or an adventurous mountain getaway, this spot is an absolute gem. When we go back, we will definitely stay at the Pinetree Hotel again!
